dog cystOne type of superficial bump on your dog’s skin is a sebaceous cyst, which is a plugged oil gland in the skin. Basically, a sebaceous cyst is a very large pimple that is harmless to your pet and may feel like a raised bump.  Sebaceous cysts are often removed with a scalpel blade in veterinary medicine, but can be resolved using surgical laser or fine needle aspiration.
